capturing the flash streams off youtube is one that i have yet to figure out but one i want to be able to do. If anyone knows how to do it, please post :)

PS. That's the URL to the video, if you can't download that it's your browser's problem. Tried the stock standard right click -> save as ?

PS. If you use firefox this addon will help you download the videos from most major video sites http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php Or there's a webform on that site which'll let you enter the video url and provide you download links.

Ah, yeah I just recently formatted the other night again.
Back on basic Firefox install ><

And yeah I had tried standard save-as, just saves as a 1kb file for me =(.

I just copy youtube flv's out of my cache, then rename to .flv. just order by filesize and pick the most recent large file. Rocketscience!@!
