Wow, I wonder who got fired from coke after this f***up. I haven't got a photo, but they've released the latest bottles with gold plastic to show support for the FIFA World Cup. What it looks like, is pre-chromed coke bottles. I wonder if they'll be releasing silver and green tints also.

It's just gold, other than that it's exactly the same with a pic of the world cup on the label

Yeah, after the release of the silver bottle they decided it was a bad idea because people (ie : cops) couldn't tell at a glance which stupid f***ers had filled theirs with paint. And now some retard has released gold ones. Just fill them with paint straight from the bottling plant and be done with it.

I think the problem is more that they can hide the fact that they are chroming. True though - this was a big issue that the media went to town with a couple of years ago. Who cares really - It's a bottle.

They had exactly the same controversy a few years ago with the diet coke bottles, which were a silver chrome.

I haven't seen them, but is the pic below what you are talking about?

I half expect future coke bottles to have a green glow under them and squeal when you tilt it to drink ...

thanks for the pic.

ure right tho there was a silver one for diet coke a few years ago and the cops and media went right off their nut.

Coke prob thought they could get away with it this time. cant wait to see what happens next. hoping for a beatdown on coke but prob wont happen.

besides who cares if the people are croming, they prob wont even care if they are gold or not after the first few times.

Anyway thanks for posting the pic.

there aren't all that many bottles you can aquire that aren't clear being either plastic or glass, these are very easy to hide the contents

just to recap, for those at the back, some people will stoop to spraying paint into bottles and inhaling the fumes to get high. paint fumes, hence, chroming.

the mudnine pre fight bottle
lol
and chroming may not be illegal but inhaling solvents is a pretty messy and dangerous way to get high. walking through king george square yesterday arvo, 3 people were running back and forward, two of them with golden bottles, yelling at each other. half of what they were yelling was gibberish.
causes public nuisance.

a shrewd marketing decision from Coca-cola

'chroming deads***s who suck at life' is a lucrative market they would be foolish to ignore

^ Indeed, its opened up a completely new market of consumers, those who dont even want the product but are rather interested in the possibilities of the packaging. Hmm.

Chroming might not be illegal but police have the right to detain you if they think you are a danger to yourself or others - that can lead to a whole lot a s***.
