hmmm this could be good, the story behind world of warcraft is acctually quite good. lets hope they dont screw it up by using child actors or allowing hollywood to f*** up the story and sell it short.

L2use insta quest desciptions and allakhazam. They only story line as such I thought existed in the game, was ragnaros was attempting to pwn nefarian? Even then i have no clue, and no care, and as IF anyone would go and see a warcraft movie for the story line.

there is a lot of lore.

just means someone making a movie from it has lots of material. but then the plot for doom was pretty basic and they FUDGED that up didnt they?

Which is actually a continuation from warcraft 3 and the frozen throne, which is a continuation from warcraft 2, and the tides of darkness, which is further a continuation from warcraft back in 1994.

So it'll be interesting to see which part they pick up and run with.

I'd go see it.

Edit - As long as Uwe Boll has a restraining order preventing him from coming 100 feet of the production of this movie.

I'll wait until I've seen it to form any opinion of my own. Be pretty annoying to watch a movie that perpetual glow around everything

the movie will be based around wow pre 1.10 and you're going to see mages light up like christmas tree's going pew pew pew and killing everyone in sight.

^ buy a bigger monitor

Also, don't you guys feel special that your hard earned monthly fees have gone towards the production of a movie instead of adding a server into Australia?

/me ends anti warcraft rant (for now) =)

the budget would have to be LotR big to give the lore behind warcraft any justice_at_all. or its just going to end up being a really s*** B grade movie with s*** props and directing.

Yeh it will be hard for them to really make a movie that is a) good and b) substantially different to lotr.

They should have made a cartoon series instead to keep more in style with the games themselves.

Might have turned out decent like the clone wars one then.

When you go to the cinema to see this, do you have to pay $10 upfront for a ticket that lets you in, wait 3 hours in the queue for a seat, and then pay $1 for every 10 minutes of viewing time .. only to have the projector die halfway through the movie and then being asked to mass-migrate to an adjacent cinema?

Yes, except you have to line up at 25 different queues because not all of them give out tickets.
