MISCHA Barton is being killed off in The O.C.
The brunette star's troubled character, Marissa Cooper, is to reportedly exit the hit US teen drama after taking a drugs overdose.

A source revealed: "Mischa is definitely going. She hasn't been happy for a while and producers think its best she leaves. It is the perfect end to the current series."

I'm sure Rev and all the other OC fans will be heart broken over this

Because its not a 'cheap' soap. Has a more sizeable budget than most.

Yeah okay I'll give the OC a little credit, anyone remember that show Passions..? I used to watch that when I got home from school while having something to eat. Half of the cast just suddenly changed to totally different people at random intervals over the duration it was on.

I thought the OC wasn't too bad when it first came out, but it's pretty much lost me now with all its crapping around.

They should have killed her off at the end of the second season instead of Kirstens father. His character was f***ing cool and a real bastard. Him and Julie would have made a good team as well.

But yeah, the show is starting to go nowhere. It doesn't have the same spark it did back in the first season. And dont get me started on that f***er Johnny either. What a waste of episodes having him there and then having Marissa constantly torn between him and Ryan. I'm glad that f*** died.
