Anyone see that air crash investigation last night on channel seven? was pretty crazy.

if not heres a brief summary:

There were 2 american warships in the persian gulf and one of them fell under attack by these s***ty iranian gunboats (10metre tinnies with guns bolted on ... i s*** u not) and so the USS Vincends (sp?) (which is uber good) sends its helicopter to get better intel on whats happening to the other US cruiser. then the Iran gunboats start shooting at the Vincends chopper so the warship heads straight for em. the USS Vincends and the other US ship proceed to open fire with their 5ml gun (fuking huge power behind it). after about 5mins of combat an IranAir commercial passenger plane (think it was A320 airbus or 737) leaves an airport close by. meanwhile the vincends warns an Irani P3 surveilance plane to piss off and continues fighting the gunboats. then as the IranAir plane takes off a Iran f-14 takes off straight behind it. the vincends identifies the 737/A320 as an f-14 (omg). then the captain of the vincends warns repeatedly the commercial plane (which they think is an f-14) to piss off or itll be shot down. not thinking it was them the IranAir flight continues toward them giving no reply and at 10miles out (20 is the usual engauement range, 10 miles is minimum weapons range) the IranAir plane carrying 200+ people gets shot down by 2 missiles from the Vincends.
