Don't know how many Smashing Pumpkin fans are on this forum but they've just officially got the band back together and are working on a new album. Not sure on the actual band lineup though, hopefully some more info gets put out soon.

Billy Corgan can go jump... he is not about the music as much as he wants the music to be about him. What a dick.

The guy is capable of writing some good songs, lets just hope things work out better this time.

As far as I'm aware it's just the two of them anyway, Corgan/Chamberlin . It's pretty unlikely that James would ever get back with them and I don't think it's been announced who their chosen bass player is.

if they can get Melissa back, then 3 out of 4 aint bad. If its just Billy and Jimmy then it might as well be Zwan playing pumpkin songs. James is hihgly unlikely because he's Maynard bitch now and D"arcy? well who the hell knows, she dropped off the face of the earth to become an actress i believe, but then with a failed attempt at that, she may be out of money and want back in with the pumpkins.

they dont realy need darcy or james to write a cool album, the albums where mostly written by those 2 anyway, james is just there to be a second guitarist and the bass player chick just plays what billy tells her to play. But would still be cool to have the original pumpkins back just for old time sake.
