Is there any good reason to use USB wireless headphones?

I got these from Jaycar:
http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=AA2035&CATID=&keywords=wireless+headphones&SPECIAL=&form=KEYWORD&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID=

I got them to watch TV on computer/play games late at night without waking up the house.

It takes a while to switch between these and output from soundcard...and if playing from soundcard and plug USB transmitter in must stop sound and start again to get it to go through the USB device.

Is there any advantage to using USB for speakers/headphones?

Also Jaycar has 7 day return policy...checked with the guy and he said if they stink I can return them. So if someone can point out a better option then please do?

And one last question. Is there any way to get sound to come out of both normal sound card and speakers as well as the usb speakers?
