Supposedly the pitch is dry and very flat, and the ball is coming on to the bat extremely slowly. Will be interesting to see how hard Australia can belt it around.

When the pitch is that slow it can be hard to get settled but once you're in it gets very easy. Hopefully some of the Aussies will put on big scores (we are 1 batsman down too) and then be able to use a crumbling pitch late in the test.

The bad thing is that this comes as people were starting to forget we lost to them in a ODI. The only thing that probably could have made it worse at this point is if we had sent them in to bat to get a quick end to the match!
