just trying to get rid of some spyware wonder if any of you could help just dont wanna go through drama of formating
most noteable of my spyware issues is something called spyfalcon
also have several others
to get rid of this iv run "hijack this" spybot sd ad aware am using firefox hm... several other stuff iv tried any ideas short of formating?

have you tried running these programs in safe mode?

Tried the first google hit?

Try Spyware Doctor (have to pay for this one but ummm yeah maybe you can work out an alternative) or Ewido Anti-Malware.

I find those 2 combined pick up pretty much everything, and are the main programs I use at work for removing the nasties.

Yeah spyfalcon/spytrooper is a varient of the SimtFraud exploit, try and google for smitRem.exe, it should get you cleaned up! I would reccomend EWIDO too...to help clean the leftovers.

turn off system restore, then run those programs again. also if one of the programs picks soemthing up but is having a hard time removing it google for the specific name and you'll most likely find some detailed manual removal instructions.
