your running 2 vid cards in the same system, or whatever monitor is plugged into the 2nd vid port on the 1 card?

ouch, looks like artifacts, but I guess I'd try and isolate the problem to make sure first.

Like swap cables to each monitor. Try running 1 monitor on the one card that seems to be artifacting. Double check refresh rates/change resolutions/drivers etc.

If that's appearing on a SCREENSHOT of the desktop, then its likely to have less to do with the monitors and more to do with the video card drivers. Re-install them to start off with. Some monitors may have drivers, so re-install them too.

Drivers re-installed, vid cards removed and rotated and the problem is still with the same card. Must just be a POS that needs replacing.

Yep, could have bad memory, I assume it's just a s***ty PCI card?

It says its an Inno3D GeForce 6600GT-PCI-Express. I have no idea if this is s*** or not but I'd trust my work to buy the cheap stuff.

it's moments like this that I can't help but wonder - why doesn't Quiggle invoice us ~$45 :P

five bucks says that's either faulty ram or a faulty ramdac. I've had almost the exact same corruption pattern with a faulty memory module on an s3 video card :)
