Not at that tiny resolution it won't, but looks very sexy indeed.

with nvidia its easy, cause you can span your desktop. then just set as a wall paper as norm.

Man... I can't get the image to spread accross both. When I go tile, it doesn't work.

id say dirt + snow, its pretty damn cold over there... probably cold enough to not melt the snow that gets into the water from the banks

How do YOU do panoramic shots? Do you use a special panoramic telecope head thingy or what? I wouldn't mind making a few decent panorama shots out of boredom but the hell with buying a special tripod head. Or do you have some kind of ubercamera(tm) & just use some whacky panorama lense if there is such a thing.

I use panavue software to stitch them. You really "do" need a tripod, otherwise you get paralex errors. A good wide angle or fisheye lens is handy (under 17mm), but your looking at £300 - £550.
I use a manfrotto tripod and head, but theyll set you back around £300. My cam is the eos 20d. |

for those runnning dual monitors i suggest you check out a program called 'ultramon'
fantastic for having spread wallpapers, different wallpaper on each screen etc yet keeping it in dualspan rather then spanned (so you can maximise on each individual screen etc) use it at work. |

i dont like ultramon.. nvidia drivers are better.
nikon dh2 is 3 years old now. unless u have nikon mount lenses you want to reuse, or ure getting it cheap, id suggest you get a canon 350d instead. |

yeah I have a tripod, but do you need a special head for it? I found some thing a while ago to build your own panoramic tripod head, dunno what that was all about or do you just take a picture, swing the camera around on the tripod or does the camera have to swing around a certain axis (hence the need for a special head or something?). I have some photostitch or other that came with my cannon camera, does the job.
I just can never get things to not look like it was taken with a fisheye lense, or does that always happen if you try to do a panorama of something like I dunno, a living room? got msn? might be easier to talk on there if you do whoop_69_@hotmail.com <- not antispam there really is 2 _'s in my email. I'll try & make some kind of mspaint version of what my panorama photos usually turn out like later. |
