The past couple nights coming home from the city, heading north along Gympie Road just past chermside shopping center there have been Random Breath Testing's on.

Not sure how long this little "RBT Promo" is lasting for but after being tested for alcohol you can volunteer to undergo an anonymous drug test and drug survey that is being done by QUT. Upside is they pay you a $20 note to do the test which takes moments.

I've scored myself $40 over the past 2 nights... and i'd like to thank QUT for it =D

Anyone else heard about this promo? Tis good to be in-the-know and know where and when these "promos" are taking place hehe...

Yeah I know there is another one on St Patties day (late night) and also around April 7th.. I'll see if i can throw an anonymous post here on the forum when they get closer...

I've always wondered how this works, and how the police could actually drug test someone under the guise of a 'promo' get the results back (correlated with a drivers license) find they were on all sorts of drugs then just go "oh, $20 well spent"

I'd like to get hopped up on amphetamines and do this if there are no repercussions, of which I'm sure there would be.

prolly to gather safety statistics.

The drugs testing went smashingly in Victoria. They made a big fiasco out of one of the first people that tested positive for weed using a saliva swab. It was a pity the dude never had any, which further tests confirmed.
