I'm on BPA 10 gig and I'm getting sick of it. I have the modem and stuff so what would be my best option to go from here?

Check on the iinet page and see if you can get ADSL 2+, if you can and dont mind bundling your phone go with them. Otherwise internode same deal, see if u can get ADSL 2+

Internode FTW
games.internode.on.net for the forums and business. If you want/need the mirrors and game servers then definitely go Node. Nothing but great service and the plans always go down in price or up in value (usually download cap increase).

id go with node if your exchange is not DSL2+ enabled with iinet, but make sure you check out primus/tgp DSL2+ enabled exchanges also.

btw cable is now 17mbit for $10 more per month and sifnt get 20 gig plan.

personaly id stick to HCF cable, dsl blows most of the time (firmware upgrades on dslams and re-routing+matenice damn telstra) you get drop outs sometimes at least with cable its 100% up time and you get 200K+ from overseas, sure iinet dsl can get up to 24mbit but you rarely see those speed from the states or elsewhere, just have a look at whingepool iinet forums.

Yeah get the 20 gig plan... oh how much is it extra if you go over your limit? (accidental or otherwise)
Better hope telstra dont stuff up.

Vote 1 for iinet ADSL/2 if available at your exchange.

40 gigs (80 bundled) a month and actual speeds of 1945 KB/s Down, 100 KB/s Up easily pwns the best my cable ever did by a factor of four.

I just moved over from bigpond to internode not even a month ago and I'm happy so far, onto the 20Gb 512kb plan, fast speeds, quick and easy CHURN over from telstra, demo downloads and stuff that won't go towards your cap (downloaded the battle for middle earth 2 demo on saturday during the day, about 7 hours for 1.4Gb) . there's also some good little homemade apps to keep track of your usage too, I reccomend the "MUM" one
