Yes, it's a PC gaming thread on QGL - amazing!

From the Gamespot forums, here is a massive list of potentially good to great PC games on their way in 2006 (hopefully):

Forums - PC Games - reasons why it's worth to be PCgamer in ...

If you can't find something on that list you're keen on, sell your PC immediately.

Combat Mission: ShockForce looks like it's 10 years to late in the graphics department.

Reasons why it's worth to be PCgamer in 2006

I thought this was going to be about why it's good to be the crew from PCGamer Magazine, like if they're getting heaps of exclusive game previews this year or something.

Spore looks so good.

ET:QW, Supreme Commander, Spore, Splinter Cell: DA, hellgate: london, NWN2, the tales-namco MMORPG, Sam&Max 2, HL2:aftermath, Alan wake, Oblivion, UT2k7, RE4, Devil May Cry 3: SE...

Looks like a bigger list of must-haves (for me) than last year's rather s***ty PC library.
what the f*** is going on here!!!
S&M2 has been ressurected, AFAIK

Supreme Commander is one I'm looking forward to being a huge TA fan, although RTS games are getting a little stale these days.

Reasons why its worth it to reread your thread title before hitting "post reply" - http://www.gamespot.com/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=24145969

Every year there seems to be a list like this, and every year people go "What a meh year for pc games", but a lot of potentially good games in that list.

It's true, but then, PC gamers do tend to be jaded :)

Myself, I'm really looking forward to ET: Quake Wars, Oblivion, UT2K7, OpFlash 2 and some of the racing games.

Certainly some promising looking title in there thats for sure. Apart from the fps offerings I was happy to see a couple of chopper sims in there. Haven't had a good chopper sim for so long. The LOMAC add on looks very nice. Might be time to start saving for a nice HOTAS setup.

I was impressed with how many specfically PC-oriented releases are in that release - by that I mean titles that aren't multi-platform ones headed for PC plus all the major consoles.

It looks like a good indication that PC gaming is still alive and kicking :)
