Hey, is anyone having trouble with that quest?

You have to let off certain fireworks in the city, well Stormwind anyway, and the fireworks you need aren't available.

Also, those firecrackers kick some serious ass. I've stockpiled a heap to use later.

I wasn't away that it had started yet.

Looks like it has. I got the quest from the chick next to the mailbox in Stormwind and was told to go to the gardens and let off some fireworks. There's a dude there that sells them but he doesn't sell the ones you need to complete the quest.

from memory you have to subscribe to the fireworks vendor for $US20/month as well as buy the lunar fireworks expansion for a once only price of $50. If this fails contact your attourney about writing up a contract to sell your soul to blizzard for access to these fireworks.

Search the AH for the fireworks then Rev. If they aren't BoP (Bind on Pick Up) then there's a chance they'll be there. I'll check when I get on for ya next,

Even though the quest says you need lunar fireworks, you dont, normal rockets and cluster rockets work, its just that it seems to be bugged so they only work if you let them off in Ironforge, at the launchers in the Mystic Ward.

He does sell the ones you need you big newb Rev, there are "clusters" and "rockets"

Use the rockets standing IN the moonlight, get the transport spell, use it, get transported to moonglade, then continue on from there.

lunar festival in wow? i wonder if the chinese gold farmers will be taking a holiday this weekend...

Also, it seems you can get 4/5 in your own towns, but #5's are all in opponents towns, which you cannot teleprt into.

1. Actually have to travel to one of them
2. Survive to find the elder and get away without getting pounded into mincemeat.

There are elders scattered around both continents, if your high enough etc you can get 5 for the candle of elune or whatever and go kill Omen the uber dog of baddyness or something. The other rewards are just RP stuff like clothes, or food.

Theres way more than 5 elders, I've already found 10 and theres at least another 3 I know of that I can't get to cos they're in high level areas.

Yes there are way more than 5, more in the region of 50 spread about everywhere, including some high instances.

I know for Allience, there's an elder in IF(Mystic Ward), Kharanos (or whatever the hell its called - the small Dwarven area down from IF), Stormwind (park), Goldshire (just west of the smithy), Sentinal Hill (tower) and Darnassus somewhere.

Omen is crazy hardcore to kill. You'd want to be all high 50s at least or have a very good guild raid going. I'm lvl 42 and nothing but the rockets I had could hurt him.

Theres one in dolanaar, one in auberdine, the one in darnassus is in cenarion circle. Theres one in astranaar, one in burning steppes, one in Azshara.

Edit: one in Thelsamar too.
