The difference is, TK keeps his News to his 'News threads', that's good.
You go to someone else's thread and have a cry or post some incoherent or totally irrelevant story about your dreary life.

PE (post/envy or penis size) in online talk is the opposite

if your post count is high, it means u spend more time on crappy forums posting and reading, instead of doing other stuff, like social things.

on the other hand, the smaller the post count (mine for example) means u arent on the forums as much, and are outside socialising more, cos u arent worried about having a small penis

insults are part of human nature which help ensure that no one is allowed to be a useless tool and stray too far from being a productive member of society. insults should be embraced rather than condemned as childish and petty. for the most part, the system works pretty well.

Certain people have high noise to signal ratio, I don't mind the occasional random thought topic but repeated topics with little to no content or pick up get irritating.

I don't care about post count, this is one of lord knows how many web groups I've been involved in... they come and go... your post count on QGL has about as much relevance to the rest of life as *points* this wall. I don't think it's unfair however to complain when some people start meaningless threads for either added post count or boredom... find some other way to entertain yourself that doesn't clog up the board.

So from this statement your saying its ok for people to flame others for what ever reason they choose? I think thats a little misguided.

Tanaka: I read and watch the news on my own time, I rarely look at your threads *shrug* The people who concern me with postcount adding tend to be the "me toos" and the people who make one line Kat taunts to be honest... I think boredom with no other avenue for venting is a far more realistic reason for the number of added threads with little value.

There is a difference between legitimate complaint and flaming, I think it is fair to make comment on your own opinion where it is not intentionally inflammatory yes.

I really have no issue with Tanaka's News Threads. Since I have the net, I rarely watch TV, and having the ability to add my 2c to news articles I find interesting is nice.

Flaming is usually a more intense form of complaining/argueing IMO.
For example: If Khel Made a thread about a game/Book/whatever which I really enjoy, I'd put my bit in about why I think he hasn't given it enough thought, or try to justify it in some way.

However, if CS_Master or some other random I have little respect for posted the same thing, I'd most probably call him a c*** and move on. I guess its just comes down to if you like the person or not...
I got no Beef with TK or Kat. So I rarely flame them if they create a thread that doesn't go down all that well.
