Here's one I prepared earlier with cream cheese, avocado, onion, capers and salt&pepper with lemon juice squeezed on top.

What else does everyone like making at home for cheap easy lunch?

Speaking of bagels, I have been on a search for months trying to find real bagels in Brisbane. By real I mean pot boiled bagels, not just bread in the shape of a doughnut. Does anyone know of a bakery that makes or supplies these?

The bagel in your pic looks to me like a Sara Lee frozen bagel, which are OK on the chewiness scale but definitely not ridgy-didge...

there used to be a bagel shop at milton, in that complex with the milton fruit bowl and other stuff, nfi if it is still there though.
