As you guys may or may not know from a previous thread i'm selling my bike (yzf600).
So I do what most ppl do. Put an ad in the trading post. I tell you know i've had nothing but f***ing problems with it. I've spent $80 for 2 weeks and this current week has been just a complete write-off. Initially they ommitted my mobile number from the ad (important as i'm not home during the day) so i rang and got that fixed. A day or so later the change finally goes through after ringing them twice. Only to find that the price its listed for has gone back up to the original price (i edited the price for a quick sale). So i ring up today and got that fixed. Only now its saying my add expires on the 18th which is only a week since i put it in and the day before its due to go into the print for the 2nd time. So now i'm going to have to ring up tomorrow and sort that out aswell and hope to god they sort it out before the next edition goes into print. I swear i've never had so many problems with trading post before. Not sure what the point of this thread is - just needed to rant i guess. I know a few of you guys are bike riders out there so if you're interested here is the ad: Clicky http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Photos/4466106.jpg |

As much as the whole carsales empire is evil, try listing it on bikesales.com.au

Hey at least they printed your ad.
They took my money and didn't even print my ad. I called em and they couldn't even find the ad but it was online (kind of) but it said inactive. Then they upgraded the ad but did the same thing as you. Printed my home number (which I NEVER answer) and the wrong price. I ended up selling it through carsales and carsguide for a $10 ad. Can't beat that s***! |

Exact same thing happened to me, they stuffed the price up in the first issue and I immediately phoned and told em it was wrong. The second issue came out and it was still wrong :@. Got so sick of being stuffed around and sold my car on carsales.com.au within 2 weeks.

Bah now i'm really regretting going with the TP. Only thing that stopped me from going onto bikesales.com.au is they don't have my specific bike (yzf600 - they only have yzf600R).
Meh i'm sure i'll find some way around it. |
