The following is most likely a very stupid question, however i need conformation :)

Can anyone enlighten me as to whether boxing day sales (Particularly in the city) still go ahead ? If so, which stores it affects i.e Big department stores? Does it include the smaller stores as well?

I ask this because people(mum) have been telling me they aren't going ahead this year...which i find hard to believe.

I am sooooo glad that I didn't have to work today. Although it was funny at opening with 600+ people trying to fit through the doors of k-mart.

Only place I went was JB Hi-fi and I picked up some nice deals. Team America collectors edition for $15, 2 disc edition of Batman Begins for $19, and the LOTR boxset with all three extended editions for $90 (down from $140).
