if there isn't any in australia, maybe you can export it from overseas and make your own business selling them. $$$

whilst the photo may not be what you want exactly, everything they have can pretty much well be adjusted, so i'm sure they will have something to suit a notebook.

think I saw some monitor stands in office works or kmart or something, they're a similar thing. designed to hold a monitor so should hold a laptop

Ok ok you guys just dont get what Im after ... so Im gonna bore you with details.

1. YES! I do actually need that specific laptop arm in the picture. NOT a LCD monitor arm.

2. Officeworks and K-mart only sell monitor arms mostly for CRT's.

3. NO I do not need a desk-mounted laptop docking station.

4. The reason that I need a laptop arm with a lockable case is that the laptop is too be mounted onto a rather expensive piece of industrial machinery. There are alot of casual staff on the floor and we would rather the laptop lockable at night. Also there is alot of forklift traffic and machinery in the vicinity that produces dirt, dust etc. We've already gone thru a few PC's over the yrs purely from the dust getting into them and f***ing them.

You'd have saved yourself that post if you posted in the first place that you need it to be lockable/dust proof.

can't you just get one of those metal briefcases from dick smiths (where I got mine elsewhere sells them) for like $30, rivet/bolt/chain/superglue/paysomeonetoholditonthere it to the device? I mean, it may not be a $900 lockable laptop arm but hey it's secure. I doubt that arm thing is dustproof either, doesn't look like it. (unless it has details stating that it is?)

failing that, why can't it just be removed at night and put in a locker? is it required for normal operation of said machinery?
