The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is prosecuting AMI over alleged breaches of the Trade Practices Act.

The matter is still before the court, but the commission claims AMI and Turpie engaged in misleading and deceptive conduct in the nasal spray ads. Turpie was given partial immunity from prosecution after he admitted lying about being impotent and publicly apologised.

Yeah, I hear that ad on Nova whenever I listen to the radio too. I don't know much about that nasal spray, including how (and if!) it actually works, but I probably wouldn't trust it (based on the press I've heard on it so far). If you've got a medical condition, just see your doctor and they'll give you some advice or treatment for it.
