Hey guys
Quick question - anyone know where I could buy a degaussing wand / coil to test on my TV here at home? Its from the UK and its gone a bit funny being down here in Aus. I've checked Dick Smith and Jaycar and neither stock them, any ideas? |

Or get a powerpack for a modem (for example), plug it into a powerboard then plug the powerboard into the mains. Wave the powerpack in front of the TV/CRT, and bam, instant degaussing wand.

most good tvs auto degause on turn on most good? I haven't seen a tv yet that hasn't had a built in degauss coil mounted around the tube. Sometimes though it comes loose or the screen thing gets magnetised I think which renders the built in thing useless. |

Lonewolf: That may be one of the best tips I've heard in years. Cheers.
