starwars battlefield 2 (since it focus's alot on space combat) ?

If so, what joystick do you recommend?

It does? Does it still have the ground based fps stuff too? And more importantly, does it have maps which combine combat in space with combat down on the ground? Because that could potentially rock hard.

nah, if its based off bf2, then you should be fine with mouse/keyboard.

its not based off bf2. It is Battle Front 2.

it was ok controlling the space bit I tried in the beta with kb and mouse though.

in the maps in space you can dock with capital ships and then fight on foot inside them. it looks pretty sweet

Fingers crossed that it's not as clumbsy as the first one.

I finished FEAR. I don't think gameplay is as good as HL2. looks prettier though, almost too pretty, like too plasticy wheras HL2 looks dirtier. (which is better)

dude, how in the hell are we meant to know if a game that hasn't even been released yet needs a joystick? go read a review from a beta tester or email the company that makes it if you want a real answer.

I reckon it would be cool if you had two giant battle cruisers facing off against each other in space, so you could man turrets, pilot fighters and man the battle cruiser, and if you could use fighters to board the enemy cruiser to do some internal sabotage and stuff.

I reckon it would be cool if you could like be chewbacca, and you like hung out with Han solo and stuff.
