Hey, i have version 6.2 of MSN messenger. I tried 7 just now but it seems really gay.

I re-installed 6.2 and it says i need to upgrade... Is there anyway i can get around this?

7 uses way too much memory, has gay ads and features etc. if you could reccomend me any files for msn 6.2 or something to get it working / some cool patches then please let me know.

There is a certain version of msn 6.2 that you have to use, which is pretty hard to find for some reason, but I've got a copy here if you want it.

i decided to use 7.5 and use that program scuzzy linked to, to strip the crap out of it.

Gone from 58mb memory usage to 28

That's still an unnecessary amount of memory for a chat program, unless youre intensively in group chats/audio convos.

Trillian 6meg ftw.
