i've just entered (again :)) into Artomic (Atomic MPC mag) with this new artwork. It started as part of a uni assignment but i hi-res'd it for entry. I used the Hair and Fur extension in 3dsmax for the grass.

what do u think?

reload! - ive got a 2480x3508 300dpi version, but its 8.5mb jpeg.
the psd file is 122mb :O

the grass was a bitch to get right. in the end i just gave up with trying to do shadows. but im happy with it so yeah.

O man I was seriously disappointed in coming to this thread. I wanted another cool space buggy or something! I guess I just don't appreciate all those thousands of tiny little shapes like other 3D'ers would.
