Doesn't that mean theres something wrong with your DNS?. Im on bp cable. Try these DNS servers

61.9.208.14 *primary

61.9.208.15

I got those off support, there working for me now.

I had a problem last night with my BP cable, at about 1am, my modem wouldn't connect properly ie. the online led was blinking. However this morning it was fine.

BPA had some work going last night that was suppose to end at 5am this morning. Tho from how long pages are taking to load up for me at the moment and its taken me over a minute to get the login page up for BPA i'd say they might have proxy issues.

Ok since qgl is just about the only website I can go to atm. Suggest isps that cost around $50-$60 per month have greater than 10gigs download and dont require me to have to f*** around resetting the cable modem a couple times a week.

my bpa was rooted last night about midnight sometime, I didn't notice it much because I was watching a dvd but when some boring bits came on every few minutes I had to keep reconnecting my router.

I found out frm a colleague at work that the telstra authorisation servers had problems, among other things. I also heard from another source that a major fibre link was cut. Who knows with Telstra. Maybe one of their tin cans rusted out.

I know its pretty weird.

From the age:
Telstra engineers have restored Bigpond broadband internet services on Australia's east coast, the company said in a statement today.

Problems with the telco's ADSL and cable services began at 1.15pm (AEST), Telstra said.

The company said engineers had to reboot equipment in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in order to get the system restored as soon as possible.

A Bigpond spokesman later said all ADSL and cable services had been restored and customers should not experience troubles when logging in or surfing the internet.
