Signing X, incidentally, is not a bad idea -- it's quick and easy, and if someone wants you to "sign on the X," it's already signed.

ahaha nice find

like persay said, its pretty f***ing old.

But its still funny and id never seen the 2nd part which is even better. The turnpike prank where he payed the toll with I O U 's and oranges is kind of funny too.

old and all that but this has happened to me as well when i first got my credit card

I don't sign my credit cards. Once I went to check into a hotel and the girl checked the back of the card and said it wasn't signed. I signed it there in front of her, and she checked it with the register receipt I also signed in front of her. THANK GOD THEY MATCHED!

That's a wicked site, got a lol out of me. I'm a register operator and to be honest I don't give much of a s*** about the signature. God knows how many signatures I've checked since I started work, but I check them all and every single one of them has matched the back of the card (except for one where I also told the dude to sign the back of it - but to be fair it had the "please actuvate this card, blah blah" sticker on it which indicated it was most probably his card anyway). In the end if any credit card purchase was a fraud dealing, the company still gets its money and the person who failed to report their card is left feeling red-faced.

Anyway, everyone knows the real way to get money is to send emails asking for people's netbank/amex/diner's club account numbers and passwords. Sif go to the trouble to steal outside when you can do it from the comfort of your own computer chair.
