after checking qldgamers.com I found it went to qgl.org. QGL is not hte only lan in QLD and not all gamers go to qgl so its a bit unfair to register ur site under that i mean their are MANY MANY lans in QLD

by registering that domain its showing a lack of respect for other lans. QGL is not the only lan bringing people into lan action.

I would think qldgamers.com would be much better used if like the ausgamers system where QLD lans are listed and registered for not just one lan which NOT ALL GAMERS IN QLD GAMERS GO TO.

qgl offers free hosting to quite a few lans in queensland

any lan in australia could easily get hosting if they asked, so i fail to see what the problem is

qldgamers.com (and most the other states) point at 202.139.232.1. Its not configured to go anywhere, and QGL is the default site for that IP, so that's what loads. We currently dont have any real plans to use the qldgamers.com domain, but since domainnames are first come, first served...

You could register www.xyz.com and point it at that IP and QGL would display as well.

Did you know we own ausgamers.com too?!? I hope those other LANs in NSW and Victoria dont find out, they'd have a fit.

PS. There's a whole lot more to gaming for Qlders (and people everywhere), than lanning - I dare say a lot of QGL's web traffic is from gamers who've never been to our LAN.
