Title says it all I guess. After a long discussion of the issue since all hell broke out last week, neither the 'thin shaft' nor 'picmip' bans will be used in the QGL Finals.

While we have been planning for months to ban the usage of both (as some players on #ausgamers are aware) we would like to apologise for not bringing the issue to light sooner. As such, while we are not completely against "differing" rules for the finals (compared to those used during the season); the amount of notice given for these changes was insufficient and the ban will be lifted.

However, I guess its worth mentioning now that in future Quake3-based competitions, we will most likely implement the current CPL ruleset.
