Well, nothing really happened in the news scene today, so I went and made a little change to the way the AusGamers account system works with respect to email addresses.

Previously, all email addresses were shown to the public whenever anyone made a post anywhere. This has been changed now in the interests of personal security, so now by default the email addresses of new posts are hidden.

If you don't mind having your email address shown, you can modify your account over at http://network.ausgamers.com. Basically you just need to check the box in your player profile if you want your email address to be shown.

In case you've been living in a cave and don't have an AusGamers account, the AusGamers accounts basically are a global account that you can use to register for LANs anywhere in Australia (over 50 LANs around the country are using this system). You can also use it to post comments or news on any news system that is powered by the AusGamers new engine (for example, the QGL message boards. So go get one if you don't have one.
