In case you haven't watched it enough, Rukh has put up a slightly better ASF version of the Macworld piece over on his site.

Also, in case you don't think I've posted enough about this, here's some more stuff! Man, that thing looks so sweet. The GeForce 3 is obviously going to be quite the kick-ass card (like their previous products, but more so). The quality of the models and the whole feel of the thing - some of those nasty flashing corridors flashed me straight to Aliens. I think the atmosphere that's going to be created by those sorts of graphics, combined with the inheritance from the Doom phenomenon and id's ability to continually revolutionise gaming in different ways is going to make Doom 3 quite the awesome game.

In case you were worried about the colours looking a bit drab, Carmack has posted over at Slashdot responding to that very thing, saying it was the projectors. Also, make sure you check out George Broussard's .plan, where he mentions what a ninja Carmack is and how much smaller Duke Nukem Forever is now (haha, not really).

I think other things happened in the world today, but they were pretty boring in comparison.. make sure you buy a newspaper, or something.

You're wrong Trog, nothing of any interest happened in the world today apart from the id demo...
