Bob, maybe because I have a responsibility to our sponsors to ensure that their bandwidth (and thus their money) is being wasted by people being a******s?

To clarify, if I personally paid for this server and the bandwidth used by it, I would have no problems with you guys cutting sick on it and saying and doing whatever the hell you wanted.

Because I don't, and we are EXTREMELY LUCKY to have what we do thanks to the awesome incredible kindness of WebCentral to put up with us (the amount of bandwidth we go through would basically mean that we would not be able to do any of this without lots and lots and lots of financial assistance), it means that we need to reflect a certain image to ensure that WebCentral is not annoyed with us in any way.

This means being a little harsher than you guys would obviously like on things like forum posts.

And I'm sure you think I love doing it as well, which isn't true. Its a pain in the ass trying to keep on top of everything.

For those that don't know, I've recently quit my job (I'm only working part-time 2 days a week now) so I can try to devote more time to the gaming stuff that I'm now firmly ensconced in. So every time I read the forums and see another pointless mindless drivel or insult, its time that it takes away from me doing something constructive.

That said, I love the forums, when people are using them for constructive conversation. I've got some great feedback about my recent PC problems, and there's always something interesting or funny to read here.

Forums have always been and will always be a good place to flame, and I don't have a problem with that; it shows healthy competition and stuff. Threads that drivel to mindless abuse though annoy me.

Anyway, there's another rant... Don't hate me, baybees.

Regardless of the WebCentral situation, trog is completely right - the few people complaining about PFOP's "banning" (along with PFOP) are being complete a******s.

If you wish to visit QGL's forums and make use of them for discussing topics of interest to the community, you must obide by the rules that the providers set out for you. To me its like the people complaining about id charging for Team Arena, if you dont like it, DONT BUY THE PRODUCT/USE THE SERVICE.

Its that simple. If you think the rules imposed by QGL on its forum are stupid, then use a different forum. The number of people who jump on the internet and think they can run amuck is rediculous. The people who then cry foul when the 'enforcer' lays down the laws of his or her land like they are being forced to give up their first-born are people I have the lowest respect for.

The internet is not your playground. Just because its not something physical, doesn't mean the 'rules' of society don't apply. Show some courtesy and respect for other people, but more importantly, show some maturity.

I agree with DarkAngel.
And bandwidth is there to be wasted. Would you prefer that you had NOONE come here, and then you'd have a large amount of useless bandwidth?
