Received a few emails from people suggesting we make the RA3 server a map1 only server. I was thinking that (to add a little verity) making it a map1 and map4 only server. Both of these maps are by far the most popular, let me know what you think in the comments and I may do something with it today.

Ya know what, I was just thinking about pings today, and it made me realise that if you have a s*** ping, its good in a way. If you become intolerant of lag, what the hell are you gonna do when cable becomes extremely laggy? (when a warez monkey moves into your street) Maybe you guys should play with fakelag or something on... Having a cable ping is much like weight lifting... but only using the bar that holds the weights... where as dialup is like TRUE weight lifting (with real heavy weights). Having a high ping encourages you to keep your reaction times as quick as possible - low ping does not. To prove my point, I can go into the QGL lpb/hpb server @ any time of day and easily kill some lpb sk - because their reaction times aren't as good as a hpbs.

IMO... id rather the server was left in its current rotation. Its one of the few good servers that doesnt revert back to map one constantly. If too many servers start runnin map1 only i think monotony is gonna kill ra3. Personally i like maps 1,2,4,5,7,8,realmmap,charon and fire2, though not all have a good pickup map majority of maps i menitoned have at least one really good duel map. Though by the looks of it, i think its falling on deaf ears.

yeah I reckon it's good idea, but it will get boring to just play on eone map the whole time, so I reckon how about eith having two server's, one with one map and the other normal server with all maps, or for one day alternate between the two to another day, so one day this server, and the next day that server,....
