no you can't sell alcohol on Good Friday. Just not 100% sure as to the laws for clubs that are open for trading from the previous night.

I always thought it was because casino/family & cesars (they're usually open too on public holidays, but why go there) had a cabaret license. Not sure if that's exactly right but I always end up at one of them after midnight on a holiday.

Me and my mates used to go on airport drinking missions when I was younger (I think we were underage). Was good fun. I delayed a plane once (was pre-911 days so didn't get bum fisted by security).
