Yeah, I've got a Logitech wingman digital extreme, and it's extreemely f***ed. I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere to get it repaired besides the logitech place... |

Hey, I have/had one of them, and my calibration in it stuffed after a while, and was really really touchy. Does yours do the same? |

well, i'm not touching the thing, and in the calibration panel, the crosshair is jittering about like a cheap optical mouse. When i try to turn it to the left (or any direction) the f***er goes crazy! and after about 2 or 3 seconds, it usually goes to the side it should, but not in the center... its annoying, cause i just got freespace 2 off a mate, and it seems like a good game... not only that, but i've got it set up in windows, and windows is detecting it, but the wingman software doesnt...? |

Jittering joystick you say? Is it a standard gameport joystick or USB or what? My joystick (gameport on soundcard) had that problem until I turned off interrupt based polling. Under win98 you can turn it off in the Gaming Options (found in Control Panel). |

I remember quite clearly a s***load of those Vibra's had to be recalled to Creative due to falty parts. Apparently there was a component sitting behind the gameport Producing insane amounts of heat, and screwing up the gameport. |

Back on topic... Does anyone know any places which will repair my joystick, rather than me having to send it down to Logitech in Sydney? |
