Was a bit disappointed cos I was all gee'd up to experience Mr Black Elvis aka Dr Dooom aka about a hundred other aliases.

Oh well at least I saved money on the hideously priced drinks (or so I have heard). It was going to be my first Uber experience.

As for hip hop crowds being dirty, well I think that's probably true. No more so than metal crowds, thrash and hardcore, etc etc. Keeping your hand on your wallet gives the night a little bit of spice though dontcha think? :p

i went, not letting anyone in like you said though, fortunately because i live at rumpus room most days of the week i just stumbled in there for a few drinks. About 12 i went back to uber, there was a fight going on which made all the security wander off so I just walked in. There was a few fights from what I heard and the crowd was yes generally rough, fortunately I know most of the local crowd so managed to keep myself out of trouble.

What was he like? His style is kinda freestyle, stream of consciousness type thing on studio albums so I was interested to see what he would do live.
