I was just wondering which is better? The intel core 2 duo chip or the amd Turion64 x2 Mobile Tech. This is for a laptop. What are the differences between the two chips?

I dont trust AMD performance anymore. They have just have a lacklustre reputation now in the CPU and possibly the video card department. I would most definitely get an Intel Core 2 duo.
