runs on mine too 3ghz, 2gb ram, 8800gts

However the other day I was playing it and the sound started to stutter like it was cutting in and out. Everyone sounded like a Dalek or something. Doesn't seem to be doing it anymore though so I guess a reboot must have taken care of it. My FPS were fine but just the sound was all munted. I'd say a background process was probably to blame rather than crysis though.

My friend also can't play this game on anything but high (which runs like crap on his pc). All the textures just turn to black or grey. He said he's got the latest drivers from nvidia too.

How is this EA's fault? Crytek made the game, EA just published it.

Oh no....EA would never push a developer to get a game out by release date regardless of the current state of the game and pile on the pressure. Who would think such a thing.

And yet people keep buying products they're happy to push off the assembly line before 100% completion...

well I guess we're hoping that EA will, eventually, get it right at least once.

Twisted, the CEO of Crytek himself said that EA haven't had any influence over the release date at all.
If there was any dead line set it would have been by Crytek themselves. No doubt they would like to ship their own game before Christmas just as much as EA.

Crysis has been a big let down, it's a pretty game and that's about it.

im not buying it.

demo was pretty but not much else.

and what is the deal with charging 100$AU for a downloaded version for Australians and only 50$US for the same version for Americans/Canadians.

f*** that EA. EA can keep their buggy games and their botched online game store.

just buy the game from play-asia for around $50 AUD incl shipping, sheesh..

what amazes me is that they had a beta out for how long I don't know, and the game is still f***ed.. EA are to blame!!

i didn't notice too many bugs to be honest, few texture issues, a savegame bug, and a few other things, pretty standard and nothing that actually hindered my enjoyment of the single player game at all... boohoo.. i don't blame them for getting it out there, a decent patch is probably well underway..
