JOHN Ilhan, one of Australia's richest men and founder and owner of Crazy John's mobile phone company, has died from a suspected heart attack.

He was only 42. I just watched a program on him last night, and he seemed like a hard working good bloke. Probably worked too hard and now hasnt had the chance to enjoy the fruits of his labour.

I got my phone through him too..

Thats a shame, I know he always did a lot for charity stuff - donations, sponsorships etc.

apparently he was a pretty fit guy so its kinda strange that he died from a heart attack. then again he could have been a druggy or had some kinda heart defect.

there are a multitude of reasons anyone can have a heart attack... you don't have to be overwieght or use narcotics, although obviously they wouldn't help.

He was a great guy. He used to go around Australia giving motivational speeches to school children. Lets hope the kick boxing sponsorship lives on

You don't have to be overweight to suffer from high cholesterol problems. He may have had a genetically dodgy heart and was unlucky. If only he spent $10,000 or so and sequenced his DNA and had an army of monkies looking for defective genes.
