I have also completed those driving courses and know that you don't actually have anyone sitting in the car with you telling you what to do. that's kind of like how some sneaky people who are defaulting on credit cards pay the balance out via a cheque the day before a default notice expires so they don't default on the contract - but the cheque bounces afterwards. they can keep doing this indefinately so they never technically default on the contract. i wouldn't recommend it though cause you'll still get a bad credit rating etc.

Ive had one accident, but a taxi was overtaking me in the wrong lane of a two way street while Im making a right hand turn. On the advanced driving course issue - I did a 'defensive driving' course with Holden out near Jacobs Well. I had been on my L's for about six months and I found the whole thing really beneficial as a new driver, learning about how to use standard and ABS brakes effectively for difference situations, dealing with over-steer, playing on the skid pan and getting to watch the holden performance drivers do their thing.
