after playing bioshock fine all day long and shutting down that night, next day videocard suddenly has no output. Computer boots fine, can shutdown with hotkeys, tried different monitor. ANYWAY what's the best bang for buck for around $200? |

I recently bought a gainward 7600GS agp card to tide me over till I can afford to finally upgrade my pc. Going great guns so far although I havn't tested it with much yet. |

Don't bother with the 8600gt, Dx10 features aren't worth the performance hit.
Basically the only card worth getting for about $200 is a x1950pro. Sapphire X1950pro 256 Meg I have this card and it runs Bioshock with everything on at 1024x768. My monitor isn't the best and isn't worth going above 1024x768. MSY Sells them for $197, cheaper and quicker then Umart. EDIT: O noowww I can edit.. last edited by Tollaz0r! at 05:52:17 11/Sep/07 |

Cool, I cant edit my post.
the x1950Pro's generally run a little faster then the 7900GS's and are very similar in price. It depends a little on what games you play exactly. |
