Just a heads up, the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars demo will be out tomorrow. The demo is single player (with bots) and multiplayer and features the Valley level from the second round of the public beta. If you didn't make it into the beta you'll probably want to check this one out; there'll be plenty of Aussie servers up so stay tuned.

hmmm yawn at valley again, but be good to see the tweaks they've made to the map I guess

After playing the beta, I seriously doubt I'd be buying this game. I normally love these big, open battlefield type games (such as Battlefield), but I found QW to be boring and uninteresting.

Some people at work were saying that it's not as good as the hype for it. I remain optimistic though, as Im yet to play the beta, & I really enjoyed the RTCW free version of Ememy Territory. As long as I don't have to get in a jeep to drive across an entire desert to shoot a bad guy I'll be easily pleased

Don't worry Guv, you'll be killed by spawn camping stats whore jerks flying planes doing nothing but racking up cheap kills long before you have the chance to get into a jeep

Have had a key for the open beta the whole time and only played it twice. Not looking good :(

^^ um, no. It has a bit more depth to it than that. Keep playing it and get used to the classes. It gets better.

quake wars is great, it has great depth and is great fun. people need to learn patience
