A band that despite rarely being played on commercial radio have an absolutely enormous following.

The best thing about this tour, (well aside from the fact that it will the kind of extravagant stage show that touring bands never bring to Australia) is that they'll be playing mostly 80s stuff, going to be awesome.

I'm a poor ass student that doesn't even have $10 spare, so I just raid my dad everytime an epic concert comes around and make him pay for the best ticket possible... done it for Metallica and G3 so far, will be doing it for Iron Maiden and Dream Theatre.

it's not euro, it's GBP so even worse, turned out to be about $80 australian so I just couldn't justify it. Hoping that I can still get some general admission tix when the public sale hits. That is unless any of you fan club members want to hook a brother up? =D

I netted a couple of Gold GA.

Bassman, when that's happening it's usually because other people hit buy on tickets and haven't completed the transaction. If they don't finalise it in time or back out, they expire they go back into the pool. You can just keep trying to nab 1 at a time until you have all you need (as it looks like you did).

I would imagine there will be, my understanding is that they only release part of each section for pre-sales. Could be wrong though.

Bassman, pretty sure the floor area is only physically divided into one front and one back section ie: nothing down the middle. The only diff left or right would mean is you enter the arena through a different door.

I bought 3 silver GA thinking that the gold tickets were all sold out (big slap forehead moment when i realised it was just presale) :( but i guess it was alright cos my gf probably wouldn't have come if it was gold ($150/ticket vs $99)

WTF is with students crying poor all the time when buying s***??

I use to go to uni full time and do 35-40 hours a week and live at home, i would earn 500 dollars a week after tax (ur lazy if u say u cant work while studying)

even when i didnt live at home when i went to uni, living costs totalled about 200 dollars a week (leaving me 300). I can understand poor if u dont live at home but if ur raiding money from dad i dont get it....

hopefully getting a few things signed and that.. :)

kr0wb4r, i get told where bands are staying and then i just go meet them..All the bands i've met have been down to earth and more than happy to do some signings and get shots taken.
