So, I'm looking around at some website statistic solutions. I'm trying to find something similar to google's analytics as I don't really want to have to look at getting host assistance/access. Above anything else I want it to export stats to Excel/CSV file. I know this is gonna be a pain in the arse to find in an external stat site without having host assistance but I'm quietly hopeful

Also some suggestions on host installed site stats would be great too. I've looked at AWstats but it doesn't export stats via Excel/CSV.

WebAlizer maybe? That can be rigged up to export into comma-delimited dump files which can then put into a spreadsheet/csv or whatever you want.

AWStats is pretty good. just keep it passworded with a .htpasswd as it's been known to be compromised in older versions...

Highly recommended. I has heaps of user made add-ons too, so one of them might be export to csv option. Thats if it's not already a default feature as i've never looked for one.

I have four installed for use by my webhosts, but I prefer awstats. Others available include webalizer and awstats. I've used awstats in the past which I quite like for its simplicity.
