Any reccomendations ?

Need a new tyre maybe cos its slashed, and an align, etc.

Anyone noticed how f***ing useless the whitepages search is ?

Search for *tyres*, Suburb:Albion, Street: Hudson Rd, and it returns 200 results from Wynnum to Oxley, wtf?

There is a Tyrepower at albion, and something further up the road at Bowen Hills I think. Got a puncture repaired there once, thats about it.

Last time I got new tyres + align at the same time froma tyre joint they didnt tighten x-member bolt back down properly where the spacers are.

Consequently spacers came out from the crossmember, alignement suddenly fell to massive insane s*** of s***ness and was lucky nothing more serious happened.

Only guys I trust to touch my suspension work is Fulcrum.
I'd just buy tyres and take em to a decent mob like that and ask them for align + fitting (fitting is peasy any shop should be able to do it with those machine punch thingy's to get the f***ers on/off the rim).

Yeah its f***ed, I need a tyre replaced, spoke to Bob Jane @ Taringa, who I bought the four of them off, they have them in stock, and the guy said he couldn't do it until Tuesday...

I spoke to the place down the road from here Tyrepower, and they said bulls*** if they can't do it until Tuesday then they don't have the Tyres, tyre places don't turn people away mate.

So I called Bob back and said do you have it in stock, I need it done today. And he is like oh - if you bring it and leave it for a few hours we can do it today... Fgts

Yeah Fulcrum are the s*** if your getting suspension work done (they also sell Tein brand springs/coilovers) etc... Not sure what else they do but I wen't to them and they made up a custom bush kit for my 350Z to bring the camber in a bit. They did a top notch job and saved me from spending lots more on buying a camber kit.

Hmm, done an alignment, and the results have revealed:

Front Axle

Left Wheel Camber is -01*39'

vs

Right Wheel Camber of -00*13'

and

Left Wheel Caster is +3*32'

vs

Right Wheel Caster of +04*06'

Any idea where I should go to get this checked out ???

What brand tyres do you folks recommend? I need 245/40/19 W94 and the Bridgestones that came on it from factory are around $500-650 a pop and don't last more than about 30,000kms :(

Sounds like a 2 minute noodle, maybe Maggie noodles is the rubber that Nankang rejects.
