The Leipzig Games Convention is currently on over in, uh, Leipzig (Germany) at the moment and, as happens when these sorts of events are on, there's a veritable flood of announcements as publishers vie for everyone's attention:

• QVS figured out how to stand out from the crowd so I faithfully reproduced their Obscure 2 press release. I can't quite put my finger on why this caught my attention (...but I'd like to! HAH!)
• 2K Sports announced that Top Spin is coming to the Wii.
Rockstar announced Midnight Club: Los Angeles and also released a trailer.
• Sony gave up the goods on PlayTV, an interesting software update to turn your PlayStation 3 into a PVR.
• Activision gave us the release date for Call of Duty 4 (November 7 in .au!) and some more tracks for Guitar Hero 3.
• Vivendi released a new World in Conflict trailer - get ready for the demo tomorrow!

i am very interested in that obscure game.
