i know there is a way to reduce call rates via the net but thats about it. got mic for the computer and on optus cable.

hoping to be able to call her mobile she has global roaming but that is very Xy.

SkypeOut is a pretty cool service, except any unused credit you lose after 3 months or something, which is pretty lame.

nah dude - your available credit stays there forever (mine has for over 12 months), but if ya don't use SkypeOut at all in a 3 month period Skype drop you as an inactive user. your unused credit goes with your inactive user account in this case.
