i need a 12" sub box made for my alpine type R, the one its in now is s***house and i need a new one made up (seeing as nowhere that i have found sells just boxes anymore)

Anyone know of a place that would make a box up for me for a reasonable price.

I tried this place at stones corner (some car audio place behind the library sort of) the guy was going to charge me $350-$400 for a box... which is f***ing ridiculous,

i have tried strathpine and they said they could for $200, which is ok .. but i was just wondering if anyone has come across a place that does it cheap and good?

I've actually got a big sheet of 16mm MDF sitting in my shed atm. Was supposed to be for a mates box but it never happend.

my friend makes his own speaker boxes. got any mates with power tools? give them a carton to make you one.

got drew and the crew at northfield to make me up a custom box for my 12" type s alpine

its moulded to the side of my boot though, so was a couple of hundred bux

Alpine Type R, provided you have some good power behind it go rather large and keep it sealed for great quality. Make it yourself

im looking at getting this done very soon also for a 10 or 12 inch sub to fit behind my seat in the cabin of my vs ute... gotta get a sub that isnt too wide otherwise the box is gonna be too big....

couldn't you just kick a panel (from the inside) until it fits?
