Trailer doesn't really show much but I must say Timothy Olyphant seems an unusual choice for the lead. Who knows, it might turn out to be as awesome as The Professional was.

Agent 47 (Olyphant) has been educated to become a professional assassin for hire. His most powerful weapons are his nerve and a resolute pride in his work. 47 is both the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on the nape of his neck, and his only name. The hunter becomes the hunted when 47 gets caught up in a political takeover. Both Interpol and the Russian military chase the HITMAN across Eastern Europe as he tries to find out who set him up and why they’re trying to take him out of the game. But the greatest threat to 47’s survival may be the stirrings of his conscience and the unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a beautiful, damaged girl.

Sounds like the Bourne Identity minus the amnesia.

trailer looks cool, but the guy they got seems to young, unless its going to focus very early on in his career.

I have been a fan of the Hitman game series and this has potential to be awesome. I reeeeeally hope they don't completely f*** it up.

Hes awesome in deadwood, so I reckon he'll be able to pull it off.

I've just started watching Deadwood, only 2 eps in and so far its looking alright.

I heard that they are making a movie based on Pacman then after that it's Space Invaders, Pong .....etc etc ..... hollywood implodes.

Jason statham declined the role, I would think he would have too much attitude for the role anyway. Also I reckon it would be bad because he has done so many similar roles.

jason statham dude from the transporter? if so good. I'm sick of that guy, his early movies were ok but now he and they s*** me.

f*** sake and i the only one who is just sick of this sort of theme in a movie? a cold, emotionless assassin that has no 2nd thoughts about killing anyone suddenly is all lovey dovey over a girl? why does every movie need a love interest now anyway? i do hope this movie is good as it deffinatly has the potential to be, but why cant it just be about 47 doing assassinations and the counties/police or what not trying to find him/kill him?
