I've been enjoying the G4 E3 07 Live shows. Anyone else watching them? That assasins game looks pretty good. Wii balance board could be fun too.

F.E.A.R., Bioshock and another 'Civilization' title so much for PC Gaming. ZZZzzz.
are you f***ing serious?

I wasnt all that hyped for bioshock until I saw this: http://au.gamespot.com/video/924919/6175068/bioshock-stage-demo (20mins of in game footage with the producer, who is actually not a giant annoying nerd to listen to, commentating)

God damn, I cant wait.

And if you buy the PC version of Bioshock you're supporting aussie developers cos the PC version was done by the guys in Canberra :P

Though, having said that, I think I'll probably buy the 360 version, just cos I find I enjoy lounging out in front of the TV playing games these days more than sitting at my PC.

Im so glad they did that, with the game engine being so compatable between PC and console (apparently when you compile a U3 game it gives both a console and PC executable by default) the biggest thing is interface and control system and companies time and time again totally f*** that up. (Oblivion lol)

Another example is Gears of War, the PC version is actually taking a while to come out because they have to put a fair bit of work into porting the game from gamepad to keyboard and mouse, since the graphics engine is basically PC ready in the first place.

At least, this is what I hear :P

i was totally suprised to hear bioshock for pc will have its own interface built for PC, i wanted to hug the devs for putting in the effort.

games that raised my brow this year -

folklore - ps3
bioshock - pc/360
naruto - 360
drawn to life - ds
moh-hh - pc/360
cod4 - pc/360
assasins creed - 360/ps3
age of conan - pc/360 (probably the coolest game ive seen to date *an actual adult mmo with tits and gore*
orange box (hl2 ep1,ep2,portal,tf2 in the one box) - 360 (more suprised with this just of the fact that you get so much content for the price of one game)

gamespot interviews with the devs where they played the game and talked about was excellent coverage, they had viewers questions and enough gameplay to give you a very good understanding of the game, letting in most cases the game speak for itself.

The thing is, the games that impressed me from E3 are games I already knew about, and had already seen trailers for, and in a lot of cases, had already even seen gameplay from. Mass Effect, Halo 3, Bioshock, Assassins Creed, Haze, Drake's Fortune, Army of Two, Rock Band, and I'm sure more I've forgotten, all impressed and excited me, but I was already impressed and excited by them before E3 and didn't really learn that much new.

And since nobody has mentioned Army of Two yet, I'll mention it again. It looks like its going to be the co-op experience I've always wanted, looks freaking awesome! If you haven't seen anything about it, do yourself a favour, go to GameTrailers and watch all the videos you can find about it.

Heh yeah, Army of Two is one of the only games that I'm not looking forward to more after the E3 media. The gameplay looks like a complete Gears rip-off but with more co-op focus, which can't be a bad thing.

yeah the only new thing i saw this e3 was naruto the game, which got me excited but everything else i had already researched up and got excited about.

one game im no longer interested in is hellgate london, for some reasons the amazement it once had has gone out the window, such a cool concept but the gameplay footage ive seen so far has not impressed me the slightest.

Sounds like someone is retarded, because the whole game is built around co-op.

I love console gaming as much as the next person, but this has to be the single most retarded thing ever - releasing conan on the 360. Way to go dumbed down for gamepad gameplay! I'll be happily suprised if it turns out ok, but I'm not holding my breath. (Must admit I'm not that thrilled over the prospect of it being a Vista only title as well)
